KOBIS Eco-School Programme

Since the beginning of this academic year, KOBIS students are making considerable efforts in the initiative to transform our school into a green, sustainable school. Their actions – closely related and interconnected with the topics they are studying in school, as well as with the ongoing topics within the Eco-School Programme – address several environmental issues simultaneously, while trying to fight the obstacles generated by the pandemic. Therefore, together with the Eco School Committee, they proposed the installation of a composting station to combat food waste. They opted for a recycling company which collects the waste, constantly cleans the space around the school and undertakes recycling activities, aiming at minimizing the consumption and waste generated by it. Another lovely example of action is the recycling of the paper already used which was given a “new life” becoming a greeting card for Martisor.

Well done all!
