Parent and Toddler Group: Happy children-Happy Parents!

There are many benefits of joining a Parent and toddler group for both parents and toddlers.Playgroups allow parents to introduce their children to a range of activities they may not do at home. It’s also a safe way for parents to allow their children to engage socially with other people and try new things. Parents can broaden their social network, meeting other parents with children in the same age group.

King’s Oak Parent and toddler Group will give you the opportunity for some quality time away from home. You can indulge in those messy activities you never quite get around to at home, enjoy playing with coffee beans or coconut flakes, with flour, rice or with shaving foam. Spending time with your child in this way will give plenty of opportunity for positive interaction and praise which is so important in building a child’s confidence and self-worth.

Our group it’s also a fabulous way of letting your child experiment with independence. Young children will confidently move away from parents in order to play when they are ready, safe in the knowledge that you are not leaving. There are also the added benefits in that children are given the opportunities to start to socialise, learn to share and make friendships.
